Golden Ivory Trading Co. is a direct distributor of Nelson, Rain Bird, Netafim and Valley irrigation equipment, supplying farms, landscapes and industrial sites across Africa. Our partner companies in Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire install and maintain the systems.
01 · Who we are
We distribute irrigation equipment direct from the manufacturer, design the systems it goes into, and deliver it to agricultural, landscape and mine sites across Africa.
Two partner companies do the work on the ground: ASFA Irrigation NG in Abuja, Nigeria, and ASFA (Agricultural Solutions for Africa) in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire. They receive the equipment, install and maintain the systems in Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire.
You deal with one company for all of it: one contract, one invoice.
As a direct distributor, we place orders with the manufacturer and have them shipped to your project.
Our technical teams have product training and application support from Nelson Irrigation.
We design the systems; ASFA in Côte d’Ivoire and ASFA Irrigation NG in Nigeria install and maintain them.
02 · Equipment trading
We order direct from the manufacturer and have the equipment shipped to your project, for agriculture, landscaping and industrial sites.
A family-owned manufacturer in Walla Walla, Washington, founded in 1972 on an irrigation history that goes back to 1911. Nelson makes the Big Gun® and Rotator® sprinklers, along with pivot sprinkler packages, valves and pressure regulators.
Rain Bird started in California in 1933, when a citrus grower built the first horizontal-action impact sprinkler. It now makes irrigation for farms, landscapes, sports fields and golf courses.
Founded in 1965 at Kibbutz Hatzerim in Israel’s Negev desert, Netafim turned drip irrigation into a commercial product. It makes drippers, dripperlines and complete precision-irrigation systems, and is now part of the Orbia group.
Valley has built centre pivots in Nebraska since 1954, when it began manufacturing Frank Zybach’s patented self-propelled machine. Part of Valmont Industries, it makes centre pivots, linear machines and remote-monitoring technology.
You confirm the equipment and pay Golden Ivory.
We place and pay for the order with the manufacturer.
The manufacturer ships the equipment to your project.
You receive it, with the manufacturer’s technical support behind it.
03 · Design, installation & maintenance
We design, install, commission and maintain irrigation systems for project owners, and for manufacturers who need work done in Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire. The work on site is carried out by ASFA and ASFA Irrigation NG, with technical support from the manufacturer.
You, or the manufacturer, send us the project.
We design the system and select the equipment.
The equipment is ordered and shipped to site.
Our partner teams install and commission it.
Maintenance and parts after handover.
04 · Our teams on the ground
They receive the equipment, install and maintain the systems.
An Abuja-based irrigation company that supplies, installs and maintains systems for farms, estates and municipalities across Nigeria, from drip and sprinklers to pivots, greenhouses and pumping stations.
Based in Yamoussoukro, ASFA installs and maintains the systems we design: drip, sprinkler and pivot irrigation, greenhouses and water storage tanks, with a focus on sustainable, productive farming.
